Our Tuscan Wine School class began at 9am. The first sip of red wine that early is tart. Ah, but the second is delicious…that’s what we began to learn from our very nice Danish teacher. Taste twice. The second one goes down smoother. These varietals were thoroughly explained. We sat in a line, all five of us at a bar as the presentation began. Smell your wine, use all of your senses. Can you read through your Chianti Classico? You should be able to. Loose yourself by taking in all that the wine can give by seeing, smelling, tasting, noticing and being observant.
