Creating Invisible Cities in Revit (Part 1)

Inspired by Italo Calvino’s book Invisible Cities students are asked to sketch an imaginary city then draft it into Revit. In this Part 1 of 2 video students learn how to create a topography and understand the scale of it by using Google Earth to compare places in Venice and NYC. Students learn to establish a base drawing by setting up Elevations. Complicated tools such as sweeps, reveals, and atypical forms are also covered.
